For more than 25 years, Peakview Roofing has helped Altamont, TN property owners protect what matters most. Whether you need a targeted repair, a full system replacement, or a specialty metal or commercial installation, our team delivers craftsmanship built to hold up season after season.
Peakview Roofing has served Altamont, TN since 1999, earning the trust of homeowners and commercial property managers who expect real quality and straight answers. Our growth has come the old-fashioned way — through steady, dependable work and standing firmly behind every job with a written warranty.
Our crews are trained across the full range of roofing systems, from traditional architectural shingles and standing seam metal to TPO and EPDM commercial membranes. Every material is chosen and installed to match your property's structure and climate demands. We never substitute cheaper materials, and we never sacrifice quality to hit a faster timeline.
We start every project with a careful, documented inspection. Before we recommend a single repair, our team examines the deck, underlayment, flashing, penetrations, and drainage — then puts our findings in writing so you know precisely what's needed and why it protects your property over the long haul.
We approach every roof as a long-term commitment to the safety and security of the people who live and work beneath it.
Peakview RoofingPeakview Roofing handles every service below with licensed crews, quality materials, and installation methods that meet manufacturer requirements. Take a look at what we offer.
We locate and fix every kind of roof damage — missing or broken shingles, worn flashing, failing seals, moisture-related structural issues, and active leaks. Our inspectors look past the surface to catch hidden damage so repairs actually solve the problem. Every job is completed to code, with before-and-after photos kept on file for your records.
When a roof has reached the end of its useful life, we handle the full tear-off and rebuild. That means inspecting and repairing the deck, laying premium underlayment and ice-and-water protection where needed, installing materials to exact manufacturer specs, and closing out with a detailed walkthrough. We'll help you choose materials that balance durability, looks, and budget for your property.
When storms hit, trees fall, or water starts pouring in, we respond fast. Our emergency crews arrive to stabilize the situation and provide temporary protection while we plan the permanent fix. We photograph and document every bit of storm damage so you have what you need if you're filing an insurance claim.
Our certified installers work with standing seam, exposed-fastener, and metal shingle systems for property owners who want long life with minimal upkeep. Metal roofing stands up to high winds, hail impact, and harsh weather better than most alternatives. Done right, these systems can last 40 to 70 years — and their solar reflectance can meaningfully cut cooling costs.
Flat and low-slope roofs — TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up systems — bring their own set of challenges: standing water, punctures, separated seams, clogged drains. Our specialists trace every leak back to its source using methodical diagnostics, then repair the affected area and surrounding membrane to restore watertight performance.
A protective coating applied over your existing roof can renew waterproofing and add years of service without the cost of a full tear-off. Silicone, acrylic, and polyurethane coatings form a seamless barrier that closes small cracks, stops pooling water from getting in, and reflects heat away from the building. We also offer liquid and sheet-membrane deck waterproofing built to handle foot traffic and years of weather.
Every Peakview Roofing project moves through the same four stages, designed to keep quality consistent, communication clear, and you informed from your first call to the final walkthrough.
A licensed inspector examines your entire roofing system — deck, underlayment, flashing, penetrations, and drainage — and photographs everything found. You'll receive a written report before we ever recommend a course of action.
We put together a detailed estimate breaking down materials, labor, and cost for every part of the job. We'll walk through your options together and explain our reasoning, so you can decide with confidence and no pressure.
Certified crews carry out the work to manufacturer specs and local building codes. A dedicated project manager oversees each phase, checks the installation, and keeps you updated — all while keeping the site tidy.
Once the work wraps up, we walk the finished roof with you, confirm everything meets our standards, and answer any last questions. You'll leave with full written documentation of both our workmanship warranty and any manufacturer coverage.
Here are the questions Altamont, TN homeowners and property managers ask us most often before starting a roofing project. If yours isn't covered here, our team is glad to talk it through.
Our inspectors weigh several things: how old the roof is compared to its expected lifespan, how widespread the damage is, whether the deck underneath is structurally sound, and whether past repairs actually solved the problem or just delayed it. If damage is minor, isolated, and the roof is still well within its expected years of service, repair is usually the smart call. But when damage covers a large area, the roof is nearing or past its design life, the deck shows rot, or leaks keep coming back despite repairs, replacement tends to be the better long-term investment. We always explain our reasoning clearly before recommending either path.
Leaks often develop quietly for weeks or months before you ever see water inside. Watch for granules collecting in your gutters, dark streaks or stains along the fascia, shingles that are curling or lifting at the edges, flashing around chimneys or skylights that looks corroded or gapped, and musty smells in the attic after rain. The most reliable way to catch a leak early is a professional inspection — our licensed team knows exactly what to look for.
Two things set our warranty apart. As a manufacturer-certified installer, we qualify you for enhanced manufacturer warranty coverage that non-certified contractors simply can't offer — longer coverage periods, reduced proration, and in many cases labor costs included for warranty repairs. On top of that, our own written workmanship warranty covers the quality of our labor and installation independently. Put together, that's meaningfully more protection than most local roofing companies can provide.
Yes — we serve both residential and commercial clients throughout Altamont, TN. On the residential side, we handle single-family and multi-family roofs of every type, including asphalt shingle, metal, wood shake composite, and flat roofing. On the commercial side, we install and maintain TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, and metal systems for offices, warehouses, retail spaces, and industrial buildings. Our scheduling and communication are built to fit around a commercial client's operational needs.
For the right roof, yes. If a flat commercial roof or existing metal roof still has a sound underlying structure but has lost some of its waterproofing due to age and sun exposure, a properly applied silicone or elastomeric coating can restore water resistance, cut down on heat gain, and add 10 to 20 years of service life at a fraction of what replacement costs. That said, coating only makes sense when the roof structure itself is still solid — if the deck is failing or the membrane has widespread damage, replacement is the right call. We'll give you an honest assessment during your inspection either way.
Before we arrive, clear vehicles from the driveway so our crew and equipment have room to work. Move or cover any delicate outdoor décor near the house, since installation can cause some vibration. Inside, it's worth securing items on high shelves, especially on the top floor. Let us know ahead of time about any access issues, overhead utility lines, or areas that need special care. We'll send you full prep instructions once your project is scheduled, and our crew takes care to protect your landscaping and property throughout the job.
